Day 1 BAMAKO: welcome at airport and transfer to hotel

Day 2 BAMAKO - MOPTI Departure for Mopti via Segou, lunch in San capital city of bobo ethnic group. After moving to the hotel, ride on the river Bani, on a special boat called "pinasse" to watch the sunset. Dinner and night at hotel.

Day 3 MOPTI -HOMBORI: Visit of the Malian Venice, its traditional little port, artisanal shipbuilding, women market and old city. Departure for Hombori where you will cross the Sahel and view the Hombori Mountain with a landscape similar to the Far west scenery, pic nic below the Hand of Fatima ,trekking possibility, overnight in the Hombres camp.

Day 4 HOMBORI - DOGON COUNTRIES On your way to Douentza, you will follow the cliff of Bamba towards the dogon villages of Damassongo, Were and Yendouma. Your guide will help you discover these people, their cosmogony and traditions. Dinner and night in the camp.

Day 5 DOGON COUNTRIES During 3 days ,you will walk or drive (4WD) in order to get a closer look at the villages of Yougana,Yougapri and Yougaduguru all in a row ,visit the market ( notice that a Dogon week is made of 5 days and that market days vary). Overnight in a camp or bivouac.

Day 6 SANGHA-SEGOU Sangha (Ogol from top to bottom) will be your last stop, you will join Bandiagara by track across millet and onion field. Dinner and night at hotel.

Day 7 SEGOU BAMAKO Visit of the city and of Sekoro, old capital of Bambara kingdom of Ségou. Lunch and back to Bamako, with dinner to the sound of Mandingo music.

Day 8 BAMAKO Visit of the city and its panoramic view at point G, the National museum, the traditional market then lunch and transfer to airport later in the afternoon.
